Kimberley SA Diamonds are produced only from the specialised processing and recovery plant of Super Stone Mining located at the original De Beers Mine open pit in Kimberley South Africa; in a comprehensive rehabilitation program of re mining the old tailings dumps of the five now closed Kimberley mines (better known as The Big Hole, De Beers, Dutoitspan, Bultfontein and Wesselton Mines ) and then carefully depositing the processed solids back into the mined out De Beers mine pit thus rehabilitating and completely reversing the environmental damage of the past 140 years of mining in Kimberley.   An exclusive characteristic of Kimberley SA Diamonds is that they are entirely environmentally friendly.

Kimberley SA Polished Diamonds are a limited selection of the larger gem diamonds chosen for their economic polishing and beneficiation by a hand picked selection of South Africa’s top skilled diamond polishers. These diamonds are offered to you for the next 5 to 10 years only as Original Kimberley South Africa Polished Diamonds. Thereafter the resources will most likely have been worked out and Original Kimberley South Africa Polished Diamonds will never again be available.

As the majority of the diamonds recovered by Super Stone Mining are of very small sizes destined for the more cost effective Eastern polishing factories and markets, the carefully selected Kimberley SA Diamonds are a limited supply of less than 2 % of the rehabilitation projects production.

The old dump material currently being processed by Super Stone Mining is effectively the wasted spoils of the many famous prospectors and spectators involved in the Kimberley South African story since the chance discovery of Kimberlites carrying diamonds in the area in 1870, including names such as: Cecil John Rhodes, Barney Barnato, Charles Rudd, Dr. Leander Starr Jameson, Lionel Phillips and JB Robinson, to mention but a few. We have no doubt that the above characters and their many associates, will turn in their graves with the knowledge of how many beautiful high quality diamonds they overlooked and discarded during their mining days in Kimberley.
